AI & Proposal Writing Training for Union of Municipalities - Lebanon

Introduction

NOVAI conducted two full-day capacity-building trainings for the Union of Municipalities in Lebanon — one with the Zgharta Union of Municipalities and another with the Keserwan Union of Municipalities.

Each session gathered representatives from around 15 municipalities, introducing them to:

• Artificial Intelligence (AI) and its applications in development and governance.
• Proposal writing techniques and donor alignment strategies.
• An interactive session on using the NOVAI platform, where participants practiced generating AI-assisted funding proposals.

At the end of each workshop, participants received a 15-day free trial of the NOVAI platform to explore its tools and share feedback for improvement.

These trainings form part of NOVAI's mission to empower local authorities and community actors in Lebanon with digital tools that enhance access to funding and strengthen institutional capacity.
